Located in Sydney’s southwest, RedFeat Studios can boast to having relaxed homely surroundings to work in. The studio wasborn in 2004 With up to date recording equipment & all the requirements to put whatever you want onto CD for whatever reason. Either it is songs you’re writing or if you need to put a demo package together. Added to this is a digital video editing suite. RFE can provide a professional package for your press kit or presentation. Which can include a CD, Song clip, DVD, Live Footage and photos. We pride ourselves on having a friendly relaxed environment, while maintaining a professional approach to every task.

Clients have ranged from gospel/country singers & hip-hop artists to bands, duos, trios & soloists. The list includes people outside the music industry like hypnotherapists recording their therapy sessions to Cd & educational tutors transferring tape & vinyl to Cd.

A range of musical instruments is at your disposal, including acoustic guitars, a piano & keyboard with effects & a selection of hand percussion instruments. A whole range of loops, effects & sounds are available to add colour to your music.

The Video editing suite has Final Cut Studio as the editing software with additional programs including Motion, Live Type & Garageband. A state of the art Sony Z1P is used to capture footage at an HD level. RFE are now offering artists the opportunity to have a song recorded to video & compressed to a size small enough to use on My Space & You Tube. We are able to put a package together with audio, video, bio & pics on one CD, providing a one disc promo pack.

Recording Equipment consists of a iMac Computer with Logic Pro as the mixing software. The interface is an M-Audio Firewire 18/14 set up, providing manageability & control of up to 16 tracks & pristine sound reproduction. Out board equipment includes a “Behringer” 8-channel input unit & a "Sound Pro" 8-channel input supplying all audio data to theM-Audio interface. Vocals & instruments can be recorded through Focusrite & Pro Audio tube pre-amps to warm the sound before reaching the hard drive, which enables faster mixing during the project.

This enables the complete tracking of 16 XLR/stereo jack inputs simultaineously. The studio can cater for all solo/duos/trios & small bands. The monitor speakers are “Behringer” Truth B2031s along side a surround sound stereo system to enable a more realistic home stereo cross reference. Everything is captured through a range of Rode & Sanson microphones. Drums are captured using an AKG drum mic kit.
